Sky Will Bring Content to Windows Media Centre
In the summer, the Xbox 360 guys huddled us into a London hotel to announce that it had struck up a deal with a major content provider. Having heard rumours for over a year, we were fully expecting the pairing would be with BT Vision. For whatever reason, though, this fledgling partnership never got off the ground, leaving Sky free to jump in. What was announced was that a version of the Sky Player video on demand service was to be injected into the Xbox 360’s Live dashboard, making a selection of sports, movies and entertainment programmes available to anyone with Microsoft’s console.
