Before iPad pre order time, AppleStore can not be retrieved
Pre-orders of the iPad will be opened at 5:30 AM San Francisco time, the Apple Store could not even accessible.
At 19:00, the official site which is selling Apple products give notification that the Apple Store is doing updates.
“We’ll be back soon. We are currently updating the Apple Store and will return shortly,” as wrote on the notification.
Unknown cause of ‘death’ of this AppleStore access. Reporting via Gizmodo, Friday (12/3/2010), most likely, Apple really was adjusted to be able to serve AppleStore number of incoming traffic during the pre-orders, which will last two hours. Extreme possibility is that loading time speeding iPad pre-orders in two hours earlier than specified so that traffic entering the network to meet cause AppleStore and down.
Previously, Apple is rumored to open the a pre-order of new device that Steve Jobs created from a unique blend the sophistication of a laptop with a smartphone, iPad.
Unfortunately, these pre-orders will only apply to some countries in Europe and America. Even the model only had wifi iPad will be available for pre-order. Meanwhile, 3G version of the iPad will be launched in April.
iPad with wifi will be sold in differ price according to the embedded memory capacity. For a 16GB valued USD499, 32 GB worth approximately USD599 and USD699 for the 64GB capacity.
LG Intouch Max review
Can the LG InTouch Max compete with the HTC Tattoo
The LG Intouch Max is a phone that bucks the current Android trend of the likes of the Google nexus one and Motorola Milestone by placing itself squarely at the budget end of the spectrum, while the Koreans are also hoping they’ve packed on enough tech to make this still a decent smartphone.
The new phone features a number of interesting Android additions – the main one being the ability to choose between the ‘vanilla’ Android interface (like that seen on the HTC Magic) or a modified version of LG’s S-Class UI, seen on phones like the BL40 Chocolate. The proprietary UI allows user to scroll through four screens indefinitely, as well as grouping the menu by category of icons, rather than all of them in a big alphabetised jumble.
The build quality of the phone is good – it might be mostly plastic and rubber but it belies its price tag and has some nifty touch sensitive buttons at the bottom for easy navigation, as well as a whacking great menu button for when you need easier navigation. More »
Google Nexus One gets multi-touch thanks to hacker
Does this make the Nexus One an iPhone beater?
One thing sadly lacking from Google’s lovingly crafted Nexus One smartphone is that which arguably sets the iPhone apart – multi-touch. The ability to prod two digits at the screen and control your browsing and general mobile experience with Godlike control has been part of the Apple handset’s roster since its birth, but it’s a feature that has sadly been lacking on Android phones.
Until now, that is. A US hacker by the name Cyanogen has snuck in through a back door on the Google Nexus One, shifted some wires, flicked a couple of switches (as is our understanding of hacking) and come out the other side having enabled multi-touch goodness.
Google has just dropped Android software 2.1 (which the Nexus runs on) into the open source trough, making it rife for hacking and modding. This is the first, and is described as a simple job. More »

Palm Pre to hit UK on October 30
Out in the US, the Palm Pre came, it saw, and, disappointingly, it didn’t conquer. If anything, sales have taken a distinct dive in the months since its eagerly awaited launch, no doubt thanks to a certain recently upgraded Apple smartphone. More »
