Repair Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player is a build in media player for the Windows operating system. It has been improved by Microsoft in their latest operating system Windows 7 and is used by millions of users. It can happen that problems occur that cannot be fixed that easily by the user as the media player is tightly integrated into the operating system. A standard solution that involves uninstalling and re-installing the media player is therefor often not solving the problem.

Fix WMP is a repair tool for Microsoft’s Windows Media Player. It addresses a common problem that Windows users experience: problems with dlls that are needed to operate the media player properly.

The portable program can be used to re-register more than 40 different dlls that are required to operate the Windows Media Player. This software program can be used to ensure that all the required dlls to run Windows Media Player are registered in the operating system.

The attempt to repair the program can be started with a single click in the program’s interface. Please note that this can provide the means to repair Windows Media Player but that it can also have no effect if the problem is caused by something else.

Fix WMP has been tested with Windows Media Player 12 running on 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. The developers say that it likely can repair previous versions of Windows Media Player as well.
