Sony PS3 Will Support 3D in 2010
Sony now had confirmed that the PS3 will support 3D. Speaking to investors on the ‘five key advantages of PlayStation 3′, the company revealed that “All PS3 units will be firmware upgradeable to 3D”, and promised to “release 3D games” on the PlayStation 3 by next year.
So whether you have the original or have recently slimmed down, all will be able to go 3D via a host of firmware updates. Sony also plans to embrace 3D via Blu-ray and with updates to HDTVs in the future. More »
Nintendo Reported to Launch Large 4-inch DSi
The rumour mill always grinds in top gear when Christmas is on the horizon, and this year is no different. The latest addition to the rumour pool is the possibility of a new Nintendo DSi squeezing onto the shelves before the big day with a new, larger 4-inch screen.
Suspected to be aimed at an elder audience attracted to the portable gaming possibilities thanks to the likes of brain-training style games, the new screens would expand on the current DSi’s dual 3.25-inch displays.
